Yearning to spend a few days at the North Sea? Minibreak as a couple, with a good friend or a time out on your own? Are you planning your bike tour and looking for the perfect accommodation, something special – not again that boring hotel? Then you’ve come to the right place.

Welcome to our small Bed & Breakfast in the guetshouse at the windmill in Burhave.

Arrive, check in, feel at home – but perhaps don’t just fall straight into the extremely comfortable box-spring bed: Head over to the dyke and take a long walk, whatever the weather. In the evening you can go out for a good meal in Burhave or Fedderwardersiel – we will be happy to reserve a table for you in one of our favorite restaurants.

You might also want to taste a bottle of wine made by our friends, the Sauer organic vineyard (Pfalz), at cost price.

If you like, you can have breakfast with us after a good night’s sleep: either in our kitchen or, weather permitting, on the sunny terrace. Start the day well rested: to the sea, through the salt marshes, experience the UNESCO World Heritage Site, or cycle straight on along the coast. You may even spontaneously decide to stay another night. Or two.

There is free WLAN in the house. The car park is right next to the house, bicycles can be parked and charged if required. We are ADFC Bed & Bike certified.

We rebuilt the granary in front of the listed windmill in 2020/2021 – red brick, sandstone, oak, concrete, high ceilings and really good beds. Our comfortable double rooms now bear the names of millers from the last 150 years. Simply arrive and feel at ease.

By the way: Time to get out of the office and rethink in a relaxed atmosphere? Back to the daily work routine only after two days, well rested and with new ideas?

For a management workshop on the coast, a seminar or a small team meeting, we are happy to make our double rooms and our kitchen and living room with terrace available to you. After waking up, go for an early run along the Wadden Sea, have breakfast together, work and cook a good meal together in the evening or eat fish in one of the nearby restaurants. Finally write down these thoughts and concepts, and make specific plans for implementation. North Sea air relaxes and makes you creative.
